Our Electric bilge pumps are ideal for fishing and recreation water goers alike. These pumps can be ordered to keep live bait fresh or pump water out of the boat. If you are looking for a live well system we have great automatic pumps that aerate the well quickly and efficiently. If you are out for recreation, Bilge Pumps are often found on skiing/wakeboarding boats and are fitted with float switches which turn on the pump when the bilge fills to a set level. This can be used for not only safety purposes but those are looking to add little weight to their wake (proper use should be researched). For safe practice it is recommended you have at least two pumps on the boat. The primary pump should be located at the lowest point of the bilge, while the secondary pump (the backup) should be located somewhat higher. This activates the secondary pump only when the primary pump is overwhelmed and keeps the secondary pump free of the debris in the bilge that tends to clog the primary pump.
